Kesavah BellyDance Workshop - Khaleegy - a.k.a. "The Hair Dance"

The Women of the Gulf use the Khaleegy rhythm and style of dance to literally let their hair down and let loose! Traditionally danced with a colourful Thobe al Nashaal worn over top of regular clothes, the Thobe becomes a “prop” and is fabulously beautiful to boot!

Learn all about this beautiful and mesmerizing rhythm, try out the hair-tossing moves that accompany it, and roll it all together into a fun choreography.

Join Kesavah BellyDance and learn how to make the ultimate Belly Dance costume piece – the beautiful Circle Skirt!

Come spend an afternoon with the ladies and discover that making a beautiful circle skirt does not have to be hard work – anyone can do it!

In this workshop we’ll make sure that we take all the proper measurements, make the necessary calculations, and in the end will each create our own individual circle skirt pattern that we can use over and over again. And of course, we’ll learn how to construct our circle skirt and the various ways that we can wear it.
